Hubei-Norway Week is being arranged in cooperation between Hubei Province and Telemark Province will take place in Telemark and southern Norway, September 7-10th 2009

Grenland Friteater has for more than 25 years created a practice around outdoor theatre, not first and foremost street theatre, but performances / happenings for a special location or site, mapping the city, marking our history and traditions and making use of our surroundings.

As the expertise has grown so to have the projects. Docks, industrial sites, town squares, parks and streets have been integral parts of our large-scale projects. Out of this practice Grenland Friteaters international theatre festival (PIT) was born, and from this our millennium project Dream Station (an EU project) was born. This experience - know-how and network – developed into the Sense of Place project which started in 2005. A cross cultural city development project, which is now already in its third year. It culminated with Porsgrunn city’s 200 year anniversary in 2007.

On the 7^th it will be the grand opening with Mr Governor Li.
